At some point in our lives we will all experience anxious periods and times of low mood or sadness. However, when anxiety or low mood become chronic, it is debilitating. Simple things in life can feel like impossible mountains to climb and we begin to doubt we will ever feel 'normal' again. Extended periods of either anxiety or depression can be accompanied by unpleasant physical symptoms too- such as panic attacks, muscle tension and aches, brain fog, inflammatory response and fatigue. Often anxiety and depression co-exist and feed one another. For some people one chronic response is uppermost. Either way, it can sometimes feel like there is no way out. But you CAN improve and become happier. I have seen clients make amazing improvements and change their lives- using hypnotherapy and mindfulness strategies to support their own wellbeing. I'm an approved therapist for the charity 'Anxiety UK', working with referrals in this area. Whatever your current state of mental health, you can get better. Contact me for a friendly chat, absolutely no obligation, so we can talk about ways forward for you.
